ASC Medicare Certification

Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs) are required to be in compliance with the Federal requirements set forth in the Medicare Conditions for Coverage in order to receive Medicare/Medicaid payment. The ASC must undergo a compliance survey prior to accepting any Medicare patients. The ASC survey is the means used to assess compliance with Federal health, safety, and quality standards that will assure that patients receive safe, quality care, and services.

The Process
