Lisa completed her licensed risk management training at University of South Florida. She has extensive background in ASC licensing and accreditation, policies and procedures, and compliance. She focuses on audits, quarterly reporting, quality improvement studies, reviews, benchmarking, patient satisfaction surveys, and report preparation. She prepares monthly financial and quality benchmarking reports for forty-eight surgery centers, reviews all incident reports for trends and compliance to regulations and prepares quarterly and annual risk management reports. In addition to knowledge of regulations of ambulatory surgery centers and office-based surgery practices, she provides research assistance to other team members in the field and sends communiqués to surgery centers on regulatory updates, trends on compliance issues, and notification of safety alerts.
Tammy’s experience includes over ten years as a surgery center administrator. She is an accreditation surveyor for AAAHC and a licensed healthcare risk manager. In addition to performing surveys for AAAHC, she conducts mock surveys at surgery centers and office-based surgical practices to review compliance to AAAHC standards, state regulations and Medicare and other federal regulations. Quarterly, semi-annual and annual reviews, at the client’s selection, are performed to assist in continuous compliance with regulations and standards of care, preparing the client for excellent outcomes whenever an announced or unannounced inspection occurs. Her experience in managing surgery centers provides additional value to the clients, understanding their financial as well as patient safety goals.
Linda has concentrated on risk management, compliance and accreditation since her retirement after more than 25 years as administrator of a Florida licensed, Medicare Certified, and AAAHC accredited surgery center. She currently conducts onsite reviews of surgery centers and office-based surgery practices to evaluate compliance to risk management, state licensing regulations, Medicare Conditions of Coverage, and accreditation standards. Linda’s audits assist the surgery center managers in focusing on consistent compliance to regulations and standards. As part of the Ambulatory Strategies team, she reviews updates to regulations and standards with surgery center managers and evaluates implementation. Linda received her risk management training in Tampa.
Richard audits ambulatory surgery centers for compliance to risk management and state regulations. He is retired from Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was an assistant VP of Nursing Services. Previously, he worked for a large clinic and established its risk management program for all patient care sites. His audits concentrate on compliance to safety, state licensing, and risk management. He received his risk management training at University of Central Florida.
As an operating room nurse, Ellen reviews compliance to standards and regulations, providing guidance to surgery centers for implementation of policies and procedures for adherence to requirements and standards of care. Ellen worked as an operating room nurse with a healthcare system until 2014 and now concentrates on surgery center compliance. She received her risk management training at University of Central Florida.
Tony directed risk management programs for various health care organizations concentrating on risk management and accreditation for surgery centers. As a surveyor for AAAHC, he frequently performs surveys of ambulatory surgery centers, evaluating their compliance to accreditation standards and Medicare Conditions of Coverage. He is credentialed by AAAHC to be a survey team leader and perform Medicare deemed status surveys. These AAAHC surveys give Tony a unique perspective on various methods of approaching and documenting compliance. He received his risk management training at Florida International University. Tony reviews compliance to risk management, state licensing, and Medicare regulations and to accreditation standards. He conducts AAAHC and Medicare Surveys throughout the United States and Central and South America.
